It's that time again! What are we going to have for dinner? Are we in a rut? Have we had too much beef lately? Chicken again?
Do you ever get tired of being the one to decide what everyone is going to eat? I love cooking but sometimes I get really tired of being the one to decide. Left to my own devices I'd probably have soup frequently. I love soup. Sweetie is a very agreeable man and there was a time when I would say ... "what do you want for dinner?" and he would say. . ."Anything you want to fix."
Now, older and wiser, he says. . ."Anything but soup!" LOL
Well, tonight we are having baked turkey thighs, green peas with mushrooms, and baked sweet potatoes. Does that sound good to anyone? Want to join us?
What are you having at your house? Anything I'd like? (I like most everything!)
Let's exchange menus!

Sounds yummy to me !
Well, I married an Italian (36 years ago), and very soon had to learn the Italian cooking how-to's with my dear MIL :>) Sweetheart is VERY easy to content, and loves everything I cook, but there's nothing like "pasta" to please the whole family (have you noticed how kids really LOVE pasta ?)...
Today I made "minestrone", with fresh spring veggies + basil-parmiggiano & olive oil. Hmmmm..., you should come and taste it, I bet you'd love it, too! ;>) Welcome to our home !
As you can't make that "soup" in a small casserole, I made a whole, big batch (really BIG!), and froze part of it for the busy/quilty days, HeeHee....
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
NADINE
My Handsome husband has been making pizza and today was a new flavor. A chicken pizza with wasabiyaki sauce and mozarella. (The sauce is a thick teriaki with enough wasabi to be tangy but not enough to clear your sinuses). It was a nice change, but I'm not sure it's something we'll repeat.
Slowly,
D
The food rut! I hate it! Last night I tried out Pizza Bianca from America's Test Kitchen. Unlike most of their recipes I've tried, this one didn't turn out so good. (But we ate it!) Tonight it's dinner out of a box - DD's choice. I think I'll have soup. :-)
Hi,
I like making soup and eating it is even better. Fortunately my husband enjoys my soup too. We usually decide together what we'll be eating the following day, but I usually cook it.
I've found your previous posts interesting, especially the underground home and garden.
We use xxxx for kisses, but I don't know the origin of it. And have you always used xoxo? That seems to catching on all over now it seems, but again I don't know the origins.
I noticed your post on the Hexalong. I do similiar when I travel. Can't be leaving home with nothing to keep my fingers busy!
Nice meeting you.
Thanks that you visit my blog!
Kind regards,

Sounds like a yummy dinner! We are having crumbed chicken strips, roasted potatoes and steamed veggies.
