Friend and I were at a quilt shop today -- a woman came in with stacks of Grandmother's Flower Garden "flowers" -- all hand made by her Grandmother but with no papers -- all hand sewn. The family found tons of them and divided them up between the different families. She was wondering what could be done with the ones she received. I'm not sure this woman is a quilter, or if she even sews.

There was also a quilt top done in a star pattern. She didn't have any idea what to do with it, either.

I thought that was sad.
What would your suggestion be to her?

it would depend on how many she had..a pillow? or wall hanging? I have a quilt block (just stitched, not quilted) that was made by my ggrandmother back in 1900...haven't done anything with it yet but think I'll frame it...it's in indigo blue fabrics.

I think I would of told her that it would be way too costly and too much labor to do anything with them--but if she'd like you could take them off her hands!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
