Letterboxes -- Letterboxing -- Letter Boxes -- or whatever.
Does anybody know what this is? I just heard about this last week. I'm interested but I would like more information -- perhaps personal experiences. If you participate in Letterboxes (ing?) would you please share with me?

That is a mystery to me.....I'd have to Google it but right now I'm exhausted and it's my bedtime. I'll look forward to learning what it is, though.
I looked into this last fall. This is kind of a scavenger hunt. People hide boxes and post about them. Other people hunt for these boxes. The boxes themselves are waterproof and usually contain a handmade rubber stamp and a ledger, sometimes other things will be in there at the discretion of the boxes owner. As a searcher you have your own journal and stamp as well as ink pads or stickers or anything else you want to use. When you go out to search for and find a box, you use the stamp in the letterbox to mark your journal, and mark the letterbox book with your stamp or stickers. (Some people might leave comments, poems, pictures.) When you finish marking the letterbox you replace it where you found it for the next searcher. Here's a website http://www.letterboxing.org/
Hope this helps. :)
Slowly, Deb
