A sad day

This morning my Dad went to be with the Lord. We knew it was coming but it still hurts.
Sweetie and I will be going to Austin on Sunday morning.

This morning, my youngest daughter had surgery on her back and it was successful, or it seems to have been at this point. She is with us now but I think she will be able to go home Saturday evening so that we can leave on Sunday morning. It is still mass confusion around here and there where they are, but it will get better with time.

Thanks to everyone who has been praying for him and for us.

Oh, Anita...I am so sorry. I had handbell practice at our church music room this a.m. but I went a few minutes early and sat in church and your dad and your family were among those I prayed for there this morning. It was about 8:15 my time and you were very much on my mind. I pray for peace of mind for your family and comfort from years of memories you have with your dad. I am keeping your daughter in my prayers, too, after her surgery.
