Our final day of yard work with OGS. Today I sat in the front flower bed and pulled weeds and St. Augustine runners. He pruned the live oak tree in the front. We have long wanted to cut a particular branch but it was what the kids used to get down from the tree after climbing up. Since my last tree climber moved we cut the branch this morning, along with several others that were geting too heavy. It will allow a little more sunlight to hit my front bed. I don't think I ever said, but my agapanthus bloomed this year -- purple. This is only the second time it has bloomed since I bought it, and the first since I moved it from the back to the front. Now that the front bed gets a little more light it may bloom again next year!

It is very hot today, and still no rain.
"Hurry sundown, see what tomorrow bring."

OD is in town with her hubby -- we will get to visit with them! Hooray!!
