As this day winds down I'm thinking it has been a good one! Our Nifty After Fifty luncheon was fun. There was a good turn out -- most of them first timers, as we were. They are going to have to purchase a couple more tables because we ran out of room. Lots of good food -- my Poppy Seed Chicken was a hit and I had to give out the recipe. It is so simple that anyone can make it!

The a/c repairman came and the funny noise was being caused by a piece of paper that was in the fan drum. Everything else was fine -- Praise the Lord!

Gracie is happy because her doughnut dog is back home! We left her favorite toy in Abq and she was really missing it. OD sent it, and put three new chew bones in with the toy. Gracie was excited about the smell of the box -- do you think it smelled like Ronan, Daisy, and Bear? When we took the toy out she got really excited and started playing right away. We didn't show her the new bones because she would want them immediately. Right now she is beside me on the couch gnawing on the bone she brought home from Abq. It is MUCH smaller now.
Rob, thank you for making her a happy little doggy!
