This picture is something unusual we saw in Minnesota. The building pictured is a Holiday Inn.
See those tubes that come out of the building in one place and then go back inside in another place? Those, I am told, are part of the water slide. One enters the tube at one point, slides down the tube going out and then back in, eventually ending up in the indoor swimming pool.
We saw these same tubes in a couple of other places. My question: What happens in the winter.
Are they used then? Wouldn't the water freeze? Does anyone have an answer for this? I'd love to hear from you.

WOW...I think that is a very good question since that was in a state that gets VERY cold in the winter. Maybe they don't USE the water slide part in the winter???

Oh my--you can think of the "silliest" questions???? but then I wonder tooooo!!!!!
