Quilting Day -- Our quilting group members were busy -- the crocheted blanket that A is holding (left) was made by a volunteer that donates to our group. She doesn't quilt but her handiwork is always welcome.

Looks like you have a nice group....it's always fun to share with others like that!
Everyone looks sooo happy--must of been a fun day!!! Love those old blocks and I am glad she is doing them up for family--good for her!!

hi thanks for your helpful comments, i'd done everything you mentioned, and i did unpick it all and try again, but still the same - grrr, but... i think i need to get a different foot for my sewing machine, at least this will be a lesson i wont forget!

We had several other people at our meeting but they really don't know much about blogging and were a little nervous about being pictured in a blog. However, one lady asked a lot of questions and admitted she is thinking she will get a computer so she can learn to send e-mail and perhaps join Facebook.
