Hooray! My visitors are back. Welcome one and all. I'd love for you to comment, but if you choose to just be look-e-lou's, that's ok, too.
Class today -- we are working on verbs. I had the students make sentences using the verbs we were studying. They said it was soooo hard to make sentences. Then they read their journals, full of sentences, of course. I pointed that out to them and they said -- but it is easier when we journal. So, I gave them 10 sentences to write for homework (in addition to the journal) and said they could write their sentences in the form of a story if that would make it easier.
J, a lovely student who struggles, did a great job of writing in her journal. SHE wrote it, not her grandchildren. I was so proud of her!

Thanks for visiting today. Something tells me you're a quilter . . . I started a quilt once, and I still haven't finished it.
I'll get to it one day . . .
