This morning my doorbell rang and there stood my neighbor, with a quilt in her hand. We had talked about the quilt the night before -- a "Grandmother's Flower Garden" pattern, hand made many years ago by her employer's mother. The employer didn't want any of the old quilts and asked her to dispose of them. She kept that one but really didn't feel she had a place for it, not being into quilting. Sooooo, she decided to give me this beautiful quilt. Can you believe? I am just thrilled!! I'm attaching a picture so that you can rejoice with me!
