35 years ago today my Sweetie and I were wed!
Happy Anniversary, Darling.
What a wonderful gift was given to me when the Lord sent this man to me to be my life partner.
We have had a good life together -- good days, bad days, in between days, but always together, loving each other!
To celebrate this happy occasion we will dine out tonight -- just the two of us -- and then in April we will take a trip. At this stage of our lives we don't do too much in the "gifts you can hold in your hands" department -- we try to plan a special trip to enjoy together. We've done Hawaii (25 years) and an Alaskan cruise (33 years) and smaller trips to closer destinations. This year we will visit our son and his family in California. We are really looking forward to that! The grandkids there are growing at a rapid pace and we aren't keeping up!
Looking forward, Sweetie, to spending this time with you! (How nice it came on Sweetie's half-day so we could have the whole afternoon together!)

Congratulations! We celebrated our 35th last December...good you'll be able to go on a trip...wish we could....
